Being the clueless idiots we were, we decided to go in. We went inside only to notice a sign reading "Cashier will be back momentarily". So as we waited Sarah noticed that I kept coughing, then she started coughing. It was like a tickling in our throats. So we put two and two together and decided that it's probably not the greatest idea to be inside there. Luckily my mom hadn't left yet so we caught up to her and drove up to the Pickering train station for the 6 o'clock train. Phew

So we got down to Toronto. We dodged a couple bums and 14 year olds and finally made it to the skydome..I mean the gay Rogers Center. We had pretty decent seats; they were level 100 outfield. It's pretty much where all the homeruns go. Our seats were kind of far back from the first row. I then remember that my friend Craig Stephens said he was going to the game as well. I then cocked my head up like a meercat on alert and looked around. Literally, yes literally, seven rolls ahead of us in the first row was a man with a St. Loius jersey on that read "Stephens" I then called out "Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiig" he cautiously looked back and waved us down. We spent the remainder of the game beside him in the first row right behind the Cardinals bullpen.

During the game Craig kept talking to the relief pitcher in the Cardinals bullpen. He got a few autographs and tried to get them to give me a ball. I didn't get one but it was fun to see him talking and interacting with giant superstars..*rolls eyes*.

Hey

So the Jays only had one hit the whole game. But it was stilla good time. I bought my dad and Sarah and Blue Jays shirt. So dad is finished for Father's Day/Birthday. Sarah is going to pay me back or I break her thumbs off.

Anyway see you soon.

Wounds that heal and cracks that fix

For some reason my house lacks pillowcases. Sure there are five of us here but we've had so many laying around and it's not like they just walk away. Do they? Anyway being a boy, I am torn between using the last pink pillowcase or a scratcy striped one. I think I'll take the pink.

So I picked up a couple CDs last week. Coldplay's new one and Weezer's new one. Coldplay's album is okay but unfortunatley just okay. It's the worst of their three albums by far. The first seven songs are really great and it seemed very promising. It ended from there with eye-rolling sappy love songs about Gwenith Paltrow and his fruit child. Plus Coldplay seems to be swaying away from the raw guitar bass and drums to loud stringed keyboards. Weezer's album on the other hand is their best since Pinkerton finally. I know there are a lot of pressure on these guys to release an album every year that's exactly like or better than the Blue Album, but Weezer's last two albums have been effortless pieces of crap to my opinion; they seemed rushed and way too simple. The new album sounds as if they had a band meeting and said "hey let's aim to have maybe 10/11 songs over 3 minutes and have our guitar solos sound different than the verses. Gooo Weezer!" So it turned out very well. By far the most annoying song and the song that doesn't seem like it should be on this album is "Beverly Hills". Not only does it rip off "The Joker" by Steve Miller Band and "Teenage Dirtbag" by Wheatus, but it is just the most tiring and repetitive song on the album. Not at all like any other tune on there. Anywho enough ranting, pick it up!

Mr. Steve Uger comes home from school for a week on Thursday. We want to have a BBQ and a pool party at his pad. Considering the shitty sticky weather as of late, it'll be a damn good and refreshing time. Steve might also be joining a few of us camping on the Canada Day weekend IF we decide to go. I really want to go to Arrowhead Provincial Park. Last time I was there in 2002 it snowed and everyone, including myself, were bitchy. HOPEFULLY this trip will completely annialate that one.

Sarah and I will head to see the struggling Blue Jays on Tuesday. We are big baseball fans. We can watch a full game on TV and not get bored. We have level 100 outfield seats. Guess how much? 2 for $15!! It's apparently Ajax week at the Skydome...I mean gay Roger's Center. So they were on sale.

(Reed Johnson is by far the best player the Blue Jays have)

Anywho, I must be off Johnny Journal, say hi to the little ones for me...tell little Billy his dog's going to be just fine.

Well I hear this heat wave will end as soon as Thursday so maybe we all wont turn to shrivelled up prunes.

Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers

I think hearing Kevin Harron complaining to a bunch of Scottish people about his weight problem has to be one of the funniest things I have ever witnessed.

Hey what's up. So I am stuck at home this weekend with my brother. So far I've had to clean up and I just woke up about 45 minutes ago. Stressful. Tara's gone up to her friend's cottage in Bobcaygeon and Mom and Dad are at the trailer.

Some people want to buy our trailer. I don't want them to buy it because I wanted at least a couple more months up there. But hey the sooner we sell the trailer the sooner we can move. Mom is doubting moving to Lindsay or Peterburough right now. She want's to live closer to Oshawa. So she is now looking at semi-detached houses on the lake front in Oshawa. I kind of want to get as far away from cities as I can but hey it's really what my Mom wants. I'm almost 22 now, I won't be living here in 10 years.

I got my OSAP the other day. Well I got the amount I will be recieving in September. I'm getting $6600 plus a $3000 Millenium Bursary. It's not too bad. But it is still not enough to support the apartment and school so I have to keep saving up money at the binder factory.

Sarah, Kevin, and I went to the carnival in Ajax last night. Aside froim being the oldest kids there (Me - 21, Kev - 21, Sarah - 23) We had a good time. I won Sarah an Alien baseball bat at the pitching game. I threw 63 MPH..I was the relief pitcher...they pulled me :(...We went on the bumper cars. I fidn the bumper cars less fun now because I know how to drive. They are too easy to control now. We went on the gravitron as well...Kev tried to roll on me, but I rolled away. We then headed to a giant obstacle course ride called "Raiders of the Lost Ark"..Up ladders, punching bags, and wobby-bridges we went. I know exactly how Indy felt when he was on his adventures..fuck. A little kid start chasing us..he represented the rock. On our way there and back Sarah showed us the car she will most likely be buying, it was awesome.

Sarah then kicked the shit out of everyone in a water gun race thingy and won a polar bear - lucky girl. Sarah had to head back home to work on a resume so we dropped her off and waved goodnight. Kev and I then made our way up to The Raven and the Firkin..No one was there so we just ordered a beer and talked to some old scottish 40 - somethings. We then walked up to Harwood Blues after we heard everyone was up there. Will, Aleem, Stefan, Mike, and Cam were all there already half drunk. It was a good time, I had lots of fun.

After that my head instantly blew up and the pieces wrote this whole journal entry as the blood and pieces of skull hit the keyboard.
